We’re proud to have completed another installation of a 100kW solar system for the Metronet project on the Morley to Ellenbrook line, the largest public transport initiative since the Mandurah line. This marks a significant milestone in our ongoing partnership with Metronet, contributing to renewable and self-sustainable government projects that align with their commitment to environmental stewardship.

For this project, Solar Naturally installed a cutting-edge solar energy system at the Malaga site, featuring 200 x 500W Sunpower Solar Panels and a 100kW Fronius Tauro Eco Inverter. The system is equipped with advanced remote monitoring, allowing precise tracking of solar production and grid electricity usage.

The solar installation is expected to achieve an annual carbon reduction of 149 tons, which is equivalent to planting 552 trees each year. In addition to the environmental benefits, this system helps Metronet reduce operational costs and insulate against future energy price increases.

This is just the beginning! We have several more installations being rolled out simultaneously, and it’s gratifying to see our efforts contribute to reducing overall emissions and supporting the sustainability goals of such impactful public transport projects.
