Maylands Amateur Boatbuilding Yard (12kW)
Maylands Amateur Boatbuilding Yard is a unique facility located on the Swan River in Perth which provides space for amateur boat builders to build, maintain, repair or store their own boats on site. Maylands Boatyard has been in operation for more than 50 years and is leased from the Western Australian Planning Commission. Owner builders are able to build, maintain, repair and store their vessels privately in a secure environment at their own cost.
Looking to reduce energy costs at their boatbuilding yard, Maylands Amateur Boatbuilding Yard approached Solar Naturally for a solar PV solution.
Impressed by our quality product line-up and commercial experience, we were commissioned to design and install a 12kW system.
Installed in March 2017, the brand new system will reduce their reliance on the grid and reduce their carbon footprint by 17 tonnes per year.
