Freedom Furniture Booragoon (200kW)

Freedom Furniture, a leading name in the furniture retail industry, has always been committed to sustainability and innovation. To further enhance their eco-friendly practices and reduce operational costs, Freedom Furniture decided to explore solar energy solutions for their Booragoon store.

A high-performance 200kW solar system was installed at the Freedom Booragoon location, featuring 486 x 410W REC Solar Panels and 2 x 100kW Fronius Tauro Eco Inverters. This advanced system includes remote monitoring of solar production and grid electricity usage, allowing for precise tracking and optimization.

The solar installation not only significantly reduces the store’s electricity consumption but also contributes to a substantial annual carbon reduction of 298 tons. This reduction is equivalent to planting 1104 trees each year. Additionally, the system provides long-term protection against rising energy costs, ensuring that Freedom Furniture remains competitive and sustainable in the future.

In addition to this project, our long-standing relationship with Freedom Furniture has led to solar installations at other properties, including a Perth Radiology site. Collectively, these projects save our client over $100,000 annually.
